GoodLooks (Manager) is designed for salon and barbershop owners and managers to manage branches, services, and customer appointments. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, process, and safeguard your information when you use the Manager application.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Profile picture from your Google account

Login is handled exclusively through Google authentication (OIDC). We do not collect or store passwords.

Identity Verification Data

  • Personal photograph (selfie)
  • Government-issued ID image

Identity verification is mandatory. Until verification is approved by our administrators, access to the Manager app is restricted.

Business & Branch Data

  • Branch names and descriptions
  • Branch locations (map coordinates)
  • Menus and services per branch
  • Operating information

Order & Appointment Data

  • Incoming customer orders
  • Order status (approved, rejected, rescheduled, completed)
  • Historical appointment records

2. How We Use Manager Data

  • Authenticate and authorize manager access
  • Verify manager identity and prevent fraud
  • Enable branch creation and management
  • Allow appointment approval, rejection, rescheduling, and completion

3. Manager Invitations & Access Control

Managers may invite additional users to manage one or more branches. Invited users gain access only to the branches they are assigned to.

Managers are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of access permissions. We log access activity to maintain security and accountability.

4. Location Data

Branch locations are collected and displayed on the map to enable customer discovery and navigation. Location data is associated with business branches, not real-time manager movement.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent manager data.

  • Customer booking details are shared only to fulfill appointments
  • Verification data is accessed only by authorized administrators
  • Trusted infrastructure providers process data solely to operate the platform
  • Legal disclosure may occur if required by law

6. Data Security

We implement technical and organizational safeguards to protect manager and business data. Verification materials are handled with restricted access and stored securely.

Despite best efforts, no digital system can guarantee absolute security.

We retain manager and business data only as long as necessary to operate the platform and meet legal obligations. Verification data may be retained for compliance and audit purposes.
